Escanaba in Love
by Jeff Daniels
April 30-May 25, 2008
Those Yoopers are Back!
Forty years before before Escanaba in Da Moonlight, Albert Soady, Jr. meets the love of his life, Big Betty Balou! Filled with the same wackiness as the first, Escanaba in Love features a whole lotta romance as well!
Directed by Lansing native Guy Sanville (Artistic Director of Chelsea’s Purple Rose Theatre Company)
and starring: Jake Christensen, David Daoust, Wayne David Parker, Charlyn Swarthout and Will Young
"For years, Escanaba in Da
Moonlight - broad and brash and thoroughly Michigan - has been Lansing's favorite play.
Now comes "Escanaba in Love." It has the same setting, same family, same playwright and director."
